Overview

A surfing holiday in Morocco is a year round surf option, with small playful surf in the summer and bigger and better shaped surf in the winter months. We offer a range of surfing holidays in Morocco to suit everyone, from first time beginners looking for that buzz of catching the first wave, families looking for that real surfing adventure or the independent surfer looking for good accommodation overlooking the surf.

Our surf resorts in Tamraght and Taghazout lie in south Morocco, and just north of Agadir city and its airport. The location of tamraght & taghazout is exposed to the warm air coming from the Sahara and the coastline is perfect to capture the great Atlantic swells and is one of the only spots worldwide that is consistent year long, with solid surf in autumn, winter and spring a common occurrence and small fun surf in the summer months. It is said that this area of Morocco receives 360 days of sunshine a year!

Eating out and shopping in Morocco offers up some great alternative days out. The food in Morocco is simply divine, with so many fresh produce and spices on offer you can be sure of a top meal. Moroccan cuisine is one of the most diversified cuisines in the world. The reason is because of the interaction of Morocco with the outside world for centuries.

Surf

During your surf holiday, we will ensure that you learn to surf from the best qualified, most experienced and respected surf instructors in Morocco. Our surf coaches are all ASI & BSA qualified. No other surf camp in Taghazout, or Morocco can boast that! At Surfline Morocco we have very strict rules about how many people we will take to a point break. We are not interested in dumping 40 people on one spot and watching all of the locals get disgruntled as their surf session is ruined. We would prefer to break the groups up and help you learn to surf under the close guidance of your group surf instructor. We limit groups to eight guests to one surf coach so you can be sure of some fantastic instruction.
