Medina won the Fiji Pro

Yesterday the Brazilian Gabriel Medina won the Samsung Galaxy Fiji Pro beating in final the Californian Nat Young. On the reef break of Tavarua, Medina took advantage of the relative small and clean waves (4-5 ft.), showing us all his potential made by aerial maneuvers, tubes and high speed. King Kelly was kicked out at the quarter finals, because, I guess, Cloudbreak hasn’t shown the bombs and big barrels we are used to and that Kelly loves.

After 4 events, the top 5 ranking is the following one:

1- Gabriel Medina 30950 points

2- Michel Bourez 28750 points

3- Kelly Slater 28600 points

4- Taj Burrow 26750 points

5- Joel Parkinson 26400 points

The next appointment is the amazing J-Bay Pro, South Africa, on the 10th of July 2014. Stay tuned..
